Hi, I am Rebecca, a qualified humanistic counsellor based in Eastbourne.

I take pride in my work, offering a compassionate, supportive, and empathetic approach to counselling. With a fully insured practice, I am committed to providing a person-centred service that puts you at the heart of our sessions.

Professional Experience

My professional journey as a humanistic counsellor has been enriched by my work with various esteemed organisations:

St Michael's Hospice

At St Michael's Hospice in St Leonards, I had the privilege of supporting clients grappling with bereavement or anticipatory grief. I provided a safe environment for individuals to openly experience their grief, offering empathy and understanding without judgment.

Sara Lee Trust

While working with the Sara Lee Trust, I supported individuals from Hastings and Rother facing life-threatening illnesses. My role was crucial in helping clients navigate their emotional landscapes, making a positive impact on their overall outlook on life.

Macmillan Counselling Services

In my role with Macmillan, I supported both patients and their families through the profound changes that cancer can bring. Many clients expressed feelings of lost identity, and I was honoured as a humanistic counsellor to be the person who listened and provided the support they needed during such a challenging time.

Health Assured

My experience with Health Assured through the Employee Assistance Programme has equipped me with a diverse understanding of the challenges clients face, from workplace stress to bereavement and menopause support.

Private Practice RHCounselling

Through my private practice, RHCounselling, I offer face-to-face walking therapy sessions and counselling in Eastbourne and online via Zoom. Each client is unique; some may resolve their issues in a short time, while others may require a more extended support period. The choice is always yours, and I am here to facilitate your journey towards healing.
